The Roseville Community Concert Band was established in 2000 by Bill Hastings to provide opportunities for members of the community with interest and appropriate skills to participate with the band. In July of 2007, Stephanie Sugano became band director. Ms. Sugano is a graduate of UC Davis and holds a Master’s Degree in Instrumental Conducting from CSUS in Sacramento.

 

Particular emphasis is placed to involve gifted students to play alongside adult musicians.

The band presents regular performances for community, patriotic and private events to enhance the artistic enrichment of the community.  Band is open to qualified musicians, young and old who meet the minimum standards of musicianship.

Rehearsals are held every Thursday–7:00 to 9:00 pm at Cooley Middle School — 9300 Prairie Woods Way (at Blue Oaks).
